Using QardioArm with Apple Watch

Qardio on the Apple Watch allows you to track your heart health even closer.

The Apple Watch works seamlessly together with the QardioArm, allowing you to take blood pressure measurements by pressing a single button.

Below, you can find the steps to get started with its main features: taking measurements directly from the watch, tracking your history and following the progress of your friends and family.

Getting started

To get started, first open the Apple Watch App on your iPhone and enable the Qardio App. Then pair your QardioArm with your iPhone. To make sure that your phone and the QardioArm are paired, open the Qardio App on your watch.

If the START button on the watch is green, you are ready to take your measurement.

If the START button is gray, your phone is not yet paired with the QardioArm. Learn how to pair your iPhone with QardioArm.

Taking measurements

Taking a blood pressure measurement with the Apple Watch is very easy:

  1. Open the Qardio App on your Apple Watch.
  2. Unroll the QardioArm cuff and pull the tag. Slide your arm through the opening and close the cuff.
  3. Tap the green START button to begin the measurement.

After the measurement your result will be displayed on your Apple Watch. The color of the measurement icon to the left of your blood pressure numbers will indicate what category your reading is classified in according to WHO/ISH guidelines.

Tracking your history

The Apple Watch allows you to carry your measurement history with you at all times. You can check your last measurement result, your average from last week and your average over the last 30 days.

Swipe upwards on the Qardio App to access your last measurement, swipe up again to see last week’s average, swipe up once more to see your average over the last 30 days.

Follow your friends and family

With the Qardio App on your Apple Watch you have easy access to the measurement results of your friends and family.

By swiping either to the left or right, you access the measurement results of the friends and family that you are following.

Swipe upwards to see their last result, swipe up again to have their last week’s average, swipe once more to see their average over the last 30 days. Stay connected by getting notifications when people you follow take a new measurement.
